Jakeman's Sweets

The sweets have a powerful herbal taste, derived from the pure aniseed oil and menthol crystals used in their manufacture. All over Lincolnshire, folks swear by them to soothe sore throats and irritating coughs. But you really don't have to catch a cold to enjoy them - their taste is always distinctive and refreshing.

In addition to the traditional black sweets, Jakemans produce a honey and menthol flavoured sweet, as well a cherry menthol version, and a white menthol variety. Do ask us if you'd like to try these other sweets!
